As one of Boston’s experts in psychopharmacology, Mark R. Gloss, M.D., draws on more than 20 years’ experience in both institutional and private practice to provide medication management and therapy for a range of mental disorders and illnesses. Dr. Gloss evaluates and works closely with patients and, as necessary, family members and clinicians to develop a customized treatment plan best suited for
each patient. Dr. Gloss treats a vast range of conditions that include:
Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
A natural interest in technology led Dr. Gloss to explore TMS therapy as an innovative treatment option for patients with treatment-resistant depression and other conditions. He began offering TMS for the treatment of depression in 2010, the first private psychiatrist in the Boston area to do so.
Dr. Gloss earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his internship in medicine at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, MA, and his residency in Adult Psychiatry at McLean Hospital.
